The Star by Hackney Downs is located on the grass verges of Hackney Downs park. This long standing pub retains much of it's old character but with a twist, it's carousel bar and recent redesign influenced by the idea of a Victorian Circus it brings together the old and new in a splendid feast for the eyes!
The pub acts as a showcase for Hackney's talented local creatives - there is even a box for people to donate their own curiosities which may be featured in the pubs displays.
With a large courtyard, two stunning private dining rooms, a karaoke room in the style of a gypsy caravan and now BACCHUS SUNDAYS; there are so many reasons to visit this fabulous community minded venue.
